References are discussed on an individual basis, depending on the content of the order. I can provide examples upon request. If it becomes necessary to create references "from scratch" (custom design), an additional fee starting at $15 may apply. (By "custom design," I mean a situation where you only have inspirational images found online, but no existing finished artwork of the character itself).STYLE AND RACE.
The price does not vary based on the artistic style used for the work. Nor does it depend on the character's race. However, a surcharge may apply if the character design itself is particularly complex. Aside from that, I believe everything is covered here, but you are always welcome to ask me questions directly—I don't bite!RUSH FEES.
I typically work without strict deadlines; therefore, if you need your artwork urgently, an additional fee will apply. How much exactly? That depends on the specific timeframe you set, as working outside my usual schedule can be challenging for me. This surcharge may amount to up to +50% of the base cost of the artwork. I do not let projects drag on for years, and you are welcome to check on the progress of your work at any time.CONFIDENTIALITY FEE.
Acting on the advice of friends in the creative field, I am introducing this clause. Many pieces that clients request remain unpublished turn out to be quite successful, and—technically speaking—I have the right to use them for my own portfolio. However, if you prefer that your artwork does not become public domain, a confidentiality fee of $10 applies.COMPLETION TIMEFRAMES (DEADLINES).

I may request a substantial surcharge for depicting subjects that I do not typically draw—and, consequently, for which I have limited practice. Such subjects include: weapons, machinery, automobiles, and musical instruments. I never deliver work of substandard quality to a client; instead, I strive to refine every piece to perfection. However, I have to spend much longer and work far more meticulously on complex projects—which is precisely why the aforementioned conditions are in place :(
A surcharge for character design complexity is a fairly rare occurrence for me, though it does happen. Therefore, if your character happens to be—say—a cyborg or a hybrid, or features a multitude of intricate details in their clothing, etc., please be prepared for additional costs. More than 5 revisions: a surcharge of $5 applies for each subsequent revision, provided the changes are not required due to an error on my part. I work on a prepayment basis. Refunds are not available. You bear full and sole responsibility for your financial expenditures!
